Breast Reconstruction

Following a medically necessary mastectomy, it is possible to restore the removed breast in an aesthetic and natural way through a breast reconstruction. The breast can be reconstructed using silicone implants or own tissue (from the back, belly or buttocks).

The reconstruction of the nipple is also an important aspect of the overall concept. The planning for a breast reconstruction is very much directed towards the individual patient. In talks with the plastic surgeon the patients discuss their wishes and are informed about the appropriate surgical options.
