Skin Resurfacing

Dermabrasion is a surgical technique whereby the superficial skin layer is abraded i.e. smoothed down using a special device. As with other skin resurfacing methods, more than one treatment session is necessary to remove small wrinkles and pigmentary abnormalities. Whether or not an improvement can be expected through a surgical intervention can only be determined during a personal discussion and following a thorough examination.
